Welcome to the 13th century World of Darkness Wiki!
The intent of this Wiki is to provide information on a version of White Wolf Publishing's World of Darkness roleplaying game. Specifically, it is intended as a guide for a Live Action Role Play (LARP) by the name of Mortal Tears based in the greater Seattle area.
Please be sure to read and understand the terms In Game (IG) and Out of Game (OOG), as the distinction made by these effect what can and cannot be known by a Playable Character (PC).
The World
This wiki is specific to England and Europe in the very early 13th Century, the Dark Ages.
It is a dark time in the age of man. Armies clash in the Middle East in the name of religion, nations are led by kings and nobles, and superstition and fear keep the huddled masses in line.
During this time of oppression and strife are people, places, and creatures held behind secrets that are often more than 5 thousand years. In the shadows and in the light, they walk hidden among man.

Disclaimer
As the rules in Mortal Tears greatly different from that of what White Wolf may have originally intended, so too does the information provided here differ from what can be considered canon. It is a guide to assist in character development and a way to open up avenues of research for that same purpose.
*This is NOT intended to be canon for White Wolf.*
Despite this fact, many of the ideas and concepts developed by White Wolf are an intricate part of what this wiki is about. As such it is important to point out that some of the information provided here may find its roots in copy written material. Please respect the creators and developers of White Wolf Productions by purchasing their products. They were kind enough to develop the initial game system as well as provide a MOUNTAIN of content. Don't try to rip them off and call it your own. Don't be stupid. And especially don't try to sell this! That's even more stupid.
